The journey of Lourdes 2009 starts here!

Each year growing numbers of young people join with the rest of the Lancaster Diocese on their Pilgrimage to Lourdes. These young Pilgrims take up the challenge to serve, meet and work alongside others and to go deeper in their faith.

The Youth Section is for young people aged 16 – 23 and the dates of our Pilgrimage are:

Coach 16th - 27th July 2009
Flight 17th - 24th July 2009

You will be pleased to hear that we intend to take 2 coaches this year but please don’t relax and delay your application as places will still go on a first come first served basis!

We are also staying in a New Hotel!
Cost £570

We realise that this is a lot of money to find so have put together a blog for your fundraising ideas. Many of you came up with ingenious ways to make money last year and so we have no doubt that you will manage just as well this year. If you are really struggling with the cost please talk to us – we can’t help if you don’t let us know!

Thank you to all of you who have been telling us what a fantastic time you had out in Lourdes last year. We are really humbled by the experiences of faith you have shared with us and how God has touched your lives. We hope you are able to join us again this year.
